Helen L.  Harmon (Green)
Helen L. Harmon, 90, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018.
Helen was born July 9, 1927, in Commiskey, IN, to the late Sebe and Hazel (Branham) Green.
After graduating high school, Helen went on to meet and marry the late Alvin Harmon in 1946. They were blessed with four children. Helen became a homemaker to ensure that the family was well cared for. She was a member of West Shore Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by two children Jerry and Wayne Harmon; brothers Marion and Gilbert Green, and a sister Betty Fippen.
Surviving Helen are two children, Dennis Harmon and wife Jill, of Carlisle, PA; and Judy Spangler, and husband Bryan of Mechanicsburg, PA, and a brother Paul Green, of N. Vernon, IN. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St. Camp Hill, PA, with Rev. Dr. Paul Thompson officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018, in Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Helen’s honor to the West Shore Baptist Church, The Cumberland County Honor Guard, 18 N. Hanover St., Suite 103, Carlisle, PA, or Humane Society of Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
