Obituary for William H. "Bill" Lindeman Jr.

William H. "Bill"  Lindeman Jr.
William “Bill” H. Lindeman, Jr. 73, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Arden Courts, Harrisburg.
Born on March 29, 1944 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William H. and Beatrice (Williams) Lindeman.
Bill was a graduate of Warwick High School, and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University. Bill was a football player for both Warwick and Bucknell. He loved to play golf, and he and his wife were former members of the Country Club of Harrisburg. Bill was retired from Valley Quarries. Early in his career he worked for Penn DOT District 8, where he was the youngest engineer on staff. He went on to work for Hempt Bros. handling the bidding and supervision of local industry. He then went on to work for Stabler Construction working primarily on the PA Turnpike. He had also worked for Pavex. He was a Mason with the Zembo Shrine, and Harrisburg Consistory, Scottish Rite, the Lancaster Lodge of Perfection, and the Abraham C. Treichler Lodge # 682, Elizabethtown.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan E. (Emenheiser) Lindeman, of Camp Hill; a step son, Kirk Thoman and his wife Bonnie, of Lancaster; cousins, Reeder and Stephanie Swartz, and several additional cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday November 11, 2017 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A visitation with Bill’s family will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be handled at the convenience of the family.
