Shirley F. Shupp, 86, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Friday December 22, 2017 at Spring Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born on September 8, 1931 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Rebecca (Francis) Klein, and she was the widow of Ronald R. Shupp.
Shirley was a graduate of the former Mount Penn High School in Mount Penn, PA. She was retired from the House of Representatives Legislative Reference Bureau with 20 years of service. She was a member of the American Legion Post 730, Penbrook, PA. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and playing cards.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicki L. Shupp, of Leesport, PA, Karyn L. Miller, of Harrisburg, PA, and Brenda L. Dulisse and her husband Tony, of Parker Ford, PA; one son, Kurt R. Shupp, of Pennside, PA; and three grandchildren, Jeff H. Miller, Chelsea A. Miller, and Paige N. Miller, all of Corolla, NC.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Sands.
A visitation with Shirley’s family will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday December 27, 2017 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home, with Pastor Ronald G. Riggins officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday December 28th at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
