Obituary for Madelyn P. McGee (Petak)

Madelyn P. McGee, 96, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday January 25, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services in Carlisle.
Born on December 15, 1921 in McDonald, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Sakera) Petak, and she was the widow of Joseph A. McGee.
Madelyn had worked in camera sales and service for the former Jewelcore in Mechanicsburg and also the former EJ Korvette’s in Camp Hill. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill.
She is survived by a daughter, Eileen Testa and her husband Thomas, of Camp Hill; two grandchildren, Christopher Testa and his wife Kim, of New Cumberland and Madelyn Basmajian and her husband Dennis, of Coatesville; and one great granddaughter, Meredith Basmajian.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Robert J. McGee.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday February 2, 2018 at the Church of the Good Shepherd 3435 E. Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, with Rev. Philip G. Burger as celebrant. A viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the mass. Burial will be held following the mass in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
