Obituary for "Bonnie" Valeria Hollern Lautsbaugh

"Bonnie" Valeria Hollern Lautsbaugh
Valeria “Bonnie” Hollern Lautsbaugh, 79, of Harrisburg, passed away very suddenly on April 23, 2018 just two weeks shy of her 80th birthday. Born on May 9, 1938 in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Valeria (Wilt) Hollern and was also preceded in death by her son, Bryan James Williams in 1987.
On September 28, 2003, Bonnie married a wonderful man Gary Lee Lautsbaugh. She is survived by her loving husband along with her devoted children: Sharon Williams DePamphilis (Philip), Harrisburg, Kevin John Williams (Joyce), Camp Hill; her grandson Devin Philip DePamphilis; her step-daughter Christina Barrick (Dana), Shippensburg; step-son Douglas Lautsbaugh (Robin), Newville; 5 additional grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Bonnie graduated from John Harris High School, class of 1956. She was very active in school as a majorette and sorority member. Bonnie was also a very talented dancer and swimmer. Later in life, she was active in the Camp Hill Junior Civic Club and the West Shore Country Club. Bonnie was a current member of the PSI Master Chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi International sorority.
Bonnie was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, with such a fun and mischievous personality that everyone loved. The focus of her life was her husband, family, and friends. She was the happiest when spending time with the family at her grandson Devin’s many events or just being together as a family. Bonnie was a vivacious redhead who was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was a great cook, loved the colors pink and purple, the beach, peanut butter, and was an avid Steelers fan. She was very competitive and would tell anyone, “If you ask me to play a game. I play to win.”
Bonnie still worked for her family business, PatentPlaques.com, as an Executive Director. She had the most amazing sense for business and could read people very well.

Bonnie, Mom, Meme, or Grandma will be missed dearly. We cannot image life without her smiling face and emerald eyes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday April 28, 2018 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
