Obituary for Joni Beth Keim

Joni Beth Keim, 64, of Dillsburg, passed away on Sunday December 5, 2021 at her home.

Born on June 17, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Jerry Broadley.

She is survived by her two sons, Nate and J.D. Keim; sisters Jessie Mills, Janine Kramer, Jackie Broadley, and brother Jim Broadley and his wife Kim; four nieces and one nephew.

For 32 years, Joni was a nursing tech at HealthSouth/Encompass rehabilitation hospital and she often said that she enjoyed working with patients and her coworkers. She was a great lover of animals and doted on every pet she owned. She enjoyed taking yearly trips to Gettysburg for lunch and to drive around the battlefield. Her favorite vacation spot was Wildwood Crest, NJ, which she visited many times with her family. Nothing brought her so much joy as spending time with her family and sharing a hearty laugh with all of them. She was a kind, strong woman and she will be missed dearly by those who love her.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, 813 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg, PA 17019 or the ASPCA, PO Box 95929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
