Obituary for Sandra Ruth Cree
Sandra Ruth Cree, 65, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Harrisburg Hospital. Born on May 7, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Harry Wilson Cree and Helen Louise (Frank) Cree.
Sandra graduated from Central Dauphin East High School and went on to be a clerk and typist for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for 37 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a frequent purveyor of the Dauphin County Library. Sandra loved reading and has read hundreds of books in her lifetime. She was also fond of tending to her plants and gardens, completing puzzles, making intricate liquid embroidery, and doing crafts of all types.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Harry Wilson Cree Jr., of Harrisburg, PA; three nephews: Andrew Cree, of Camp Hill, PA; William Cree, Jr. (and wife Cassandra) of Fort Hood, TX; and Timothy Cree (and wife Danielle) of Dillsburg, PA; and a great nephew, Tristan Cree of Flemington, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her brother William Cree, Sr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dauphin County Library System.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 4855 Londonderry Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
